Ludlow’s award-winning Funding Enquiry Gateway was launched in September 2023 to provide a platform to connect our philanthropist clients with charities they may wish to consider funding. It is an online portal where charities can submit applications for funding, at no cost to them. Trust Managers can then filter and present those applications to clients, based on their chosen criteria for consideration.
There has been an overwhelming response from charities to this innovative and much needed tool to connect charities with philanthropists. Nearly 8000 applications have been received since the portal was launched. This response indicates that the charity sector has been waiting for a resource like the Funding Enquiry Gateway to bridge the gap between charities and the generosity of philanthropists.
Since September 2023 Ludlow has been able to match and facilitate the distribution of over £2.5m of grants & donations on behalf of our clients, with many more matching opportunities in the pipeline. This is in addition to the many millions of pounds distributed through clear charitable giving strategies. The Funding Enquiry Gateway can provide:

The response to this portal has been tremendous. Ludlow recognises that the demand for funding charitable work far outstrips the funding that is available. However, we are happy to provide a resource that contributes to improving the connection between philanthropists and charities seeking funding.
